New families

This week will see three of our nurses going on maternity leave – there was obviously something in the air 8 months ago! Tracey Luker, Claire Chedzoy and Naomi Spracklen are all expecting their first children within a few days of each other. We wish them all the best with their new families and look forward to meeting their new arrivals soon!

The refurbishment of our Crewkerne branch was completed recently. The entire surgery has been modernised, with major improvements to our waiting, consulting, operating and hospitalisation facilities. The Crewkerne branch will be our main site for more complex investigations and hospital cases, including isolation cases where there is a high risk of infection. Many thanks to the many people who attended our open day in May, where money was raised for Hounds for Heroes and both potential and existing clients had the opportunity to see behind the scenes.

New Vet

We are pleased to announce that Jenny Allen has joined us at the beginning of this month. Jenny has many years of experience and also holds an RCVS certificate in surgery. Jenny will be working mainly at our Crewkerne and Chard branches. She has a long-standing love of the South-West of England and is currently looking for her dream home in the area!
