Delightful rural South Somerset – Additional Small Animal Vet required to join our team of 10 vets including RCVS Ophthalmology and Surgery Certificate holders in this independent small animal practice. Four stand -alone RCVS Accredited Tier 2 and nurse training centres, each with surgery, hospitalisation, and imaging facilities. The main centre has digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, etc. and has recently undergone substantial redevelopment. Four day weeks, and currently 1 in 6 duty rota with full VN support. CPD including study for higher qualifications encouraged and funded.

Neuter your staffie for just £20!

*Kingfisher vets Chard and Taunton branch are teaming up with the RSPCA and other local vets in the Staffie neuter scheme. Staffordshire bull terriers and other bull type breeds are some of the most over bred in the UK, with many ending up in rescue centres which end up over run. To try and slow the flow of these breeds RSPCA are offering members of the public inside the catchment area and in receipt of state benefits or on an annual household income of <£18,000 the opportunity to get their dog neutered at a participating vet practice for just a £20 donation in the first two weeks of September.
