Kingfisher Veterinary Practice (under its former name of Wilkins and Partners) became established in Martock fifteen years ago. The original building is now a wood shed! The surgery at Manor Barn served us well, but our business has now outgrown the premises.

The present surgery is a self-contained unit with all the facilities expected of a modern small animal practice. The centre has been awarded a Prestigious Practice Design Award by the British Veterinary Hospitals Association.

The centre prides itself on its friendly atmosphere, which vets, nurses and receptionists from the local community engender.

The small team of professional staff hold regular surgeries, but have the benefit of backup from other vets of the Kingfisher Practice in the event of emergencies.

The centre is a registered Training Practice for training vet nurses.

Large animal enquiries are best directed to the Farm Animal Office (tel. 01460 77790)

Consultations by appointment Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning

How to find us

The surgery is at the north end of Martock, one hundred yards north of Coat Road, and just beyond the Great Western Road. It is on the left if heading north and opposite Marwin Close.

There is direct access from the main road and ample car parking.

Martock is easily accessible from the A303, with Ilminster and Ilchester within a ten minute drive. The Cartgate link makes Yeovil a short trip, and many clients travel from Langport, Somerton and surrounding villages.
